We had the best weekend with friends in Blue Ridge! A much-enjoyed change of scenery with close friends!
Looking for a beautiful backdrop, cooler temps, then I’ve got you covered!
I’m sharing where to stay, eat, and what to do in and around Blue Ridge!
Where to Stay
View-Topia – An upscale dream of a cabin in the North Georgia Mountains located 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge! The name speaks for itself offering views you’ll wish to wake up to every day! Our favorite part was rocking on the wrap around deck relaxing with our friends.
This cabin sleeps 10 and has four bedrooms! Learn more about this little slice of heaven View-Topia here and tell them I sent you!
Where to Eat
Chester Brunnenmeyer’s Bar and Grill – There will be a wait, so put your name in then shop around downtown Blue Ridge.
Das Kaffee Haus – For an afternoon pick me up! The most delicious traditional European coffee!
Mercier Orchards – Save room for a fried pie al la mode!
What to Do
Rent a boat – We loved the folks at Blue Ridge Boat Rentals! There were 8 adults and 4 kids and we rented the Bently Pontoon and had plenty of room. Rent a tube for extra fun!
Hiking – Fall Branch Falls on the Benton MacKaye Trail and Amicalola Falls are our favorite!
Downtown Blue Ridge – Such a cute couple of blocks of dining, galleries, specialty shops, antiques, with a small town feel and the nicest people!
U-Pick at Mercier Orchards This is a family fun event! Check the website for what’s in season.
It’s hard to believe it’s already August! Do you have plans to visit Blue Ridge this summer?
